Adjacent to the Lubavitch World Head-quarters on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, N.Y., Koutsomitis Architects completed a master plan study that resulted in the conversion of two large residential struc-tures into a new, comprehensive Rabbinic education center.

The two contiguous structures, when completely altered, will provide the Lubavitch Organization with the most advanced graduate education center in Orthodox Judaism. The new 12,300 square foot academic center will include a synagogue, classrooms, seminar rooms, library, food services facilities, and administration offices.The Landmark quality exteriors of the building will be restored. A completely new heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems will be installed.
