North Meadow Recreation Center

Central Park, New York City

The North Meadow Recreation Center project involved planning the design of the adaptive reuse of an historic park structure in New York City's Central Park. Previously used as a utility building, the new center addresses program needs for children's recreational and educational activities, a fitness center, visitor's information, and food concession amenities, as well as administration offices for maintenance staff and park security.

This project was completed in 1999 for the Central Park Conservancy.
